As this is one of the mandatory courses for the doctoral students of the RTG Genes, Environment and Inflammation we highly recommend participation. (For the doctoral students from Lübeck the course planned for 5/6 March 2014 might be an option.)

Agenda:

  1. Introduction  (What is the meaning of „Good Scientific Practice“? In which working fields and areas of their research work do the doctoral students have to have it in mind? Examples for conflicts that might occur and possible solutions; ethical questions)
  1. Special aspects (Life / Technical Sciences; data management and data protection; plagiarism)
  1. Structures, legal questions and consequences (Authorities and contact persons at the university; mediation and legal procedures; consequences of breaching these rules)
