On the 2nd of October 2020, the doctoral candidates of the RTG1743 Research Training Group gathered for the "Doc´s Day", a meeting exquisitely designed for doctoral researchers only.
The event started by planning the upcoming RTG1743 Symposium where the main co-ordinators, Adina-Malin Tietje and Jana Seidel, explained the major execution framework and discussed the major milestones of this task. After an active brain-storming session, the doctoral researchers had the possibility to freely discuss all concerns, doubts and problems that are occurring along the way towards the conclusion of the third year of the doctorate. It was also a great opportunity to have a peer-review session about the progress of each of the main projects and to identify potential areas to change expertises among doctoral researchers.
In the second part of the day, a spontaneous "talk with me" session was created to enable small groups of doctoral researcher to discuss specialised topics and identify potential areas for collaboration.
