Why this profession?

Since I am interested in analyzing and solving scientific problems and always been interested in studying natural human science, I decided to focus on the application of statistics in human biology and genetics and continue my education in this field. In this way, I can increase my knowledge in biostatistics and gain enough knowledge and experience to develop statistical methods to help medical treatment throughout the world. On the other hand, since the application of statistics in medicine and biology is now one of the most important topics and during the time, in the future, its usage and importance will increase drastically, continuing my education in this field will give me the opportunity to work on the leading edge of science.

Why RTG Genes, Environment and Inflammation?

I was looking for a PhD program to help me to quench my thirst for studying and learning more about biostatistics. Supervision by experienced and outstanding faculty members working in one’s own areas of interest, highly equipped laboratories and a motivating environment seem to me to be the other parts of success. Due to the attractive research topic and excellent faculty members, I found the Institute of Medical Informatics and Statistics to be the best place for me to continue my graduate studies as a PhD student in applied statistics.
